On Wednesday 12th. of Nov. Gabby Gamble, Peter Hancock & myself went down to Melb to hand over the cheque's and money to the value $17,528.35 to Peter Mc Callum Cancer Research Centre. We were met with a very warm welcome by Ally Pekin and staff. They were telling this money will go into a pool that will buy equipment and train research staff. It will also go to other research centres that can not raise their own money. Peter Mc is also applying for Government grants to build a new altra-modden hospital with admin, research centre and treatment centre all under one roof.
