PMAV Annual General Meeting Empty Sponsors

Post  deano Wed Oct 22, 2014 3:43 pm

Also remember many of these sponsors donated to the Laanecoorie event only a couple of weeks ago, ( you know how successfull that was for cancer research)so good on you guys.

Lets support these sponsors generous donations by all showing up to Chiltern, and talking to them in person about thier products and services. Very Happy

Another very successful AGM for the PMAV.  It was great to catch up with so many of our friends, whom we often only get to see at the AGM!
Congratulations Bill(Wombat) for taking on the committee position.
The auction was a great success.
The news from Gary Schafer, Minelab US was most interesting and exciting for what's to come.
We really enjoyed the guest speaker Bill Birch from the Melbourne Museum who spoke on the wonderful Gemstones from Victoria.  Very informative and we will be out looking for some of the gemstones he spoke about in the very near future.
It was good to have a meal at the pub Saturday night and catch up with so many members and guests about all things prospecting etc.
Good to see Steve from NAPFA so soon after the Bash.  Glad you could make it.

I took pictures of the AGM for PMAV. I have sent the disc to Rita to distribute to the various branches. I sent one direct to Minelab Gary.
He mentioned the info available on the GPZ (?) and said they have 5 projects on the go but some may not be produced.Could be 18 months and won't be cheaper than our 5's. (no surprise) I have put up some of the pictures on the Bendigo prospecting club facebook site. They are viewable even if you don't have an account. Look for the album marked PMAV AGM Chiltern Oct. 2014
Just Google Bendigo prospecting club facebook and click on the link.

I normally take the pictures for the Wedderburn Token hunt but my daughter has decided to get married that long weekend in March.
Mark and Ronda sponsor the Junior hunt. I have heard that a 2300 will be the main hunt prize. I rang Robin Vella today to confirm but not at the office.
I have a disc for Mark (PMAV AGM) but no postal address. Ray

Post  lvatore45 Thu Mar 26, 2015 9:37 pm

My cousin is obsessed with these meetings and events and he keeps organizing for one or two events like this in every 15 days. Even still he is looking for meeting rooms for his upcoming event. Is it really that fun?

The PMAV has the AGM in different area's each year. The local branch does a lot of the organising and i would think it's not much fun till the meet and greet at night.
