Hi All,

Currently waiting on delivery of an F1A4 mine detector. I'll change the coil socket to the standard minelab one and leave it stock otherwise. Was wondering if anyone could recommend what coil size would be worth getting for more ground coverage.

I know the F1A4 is designed for small targets and is tuned for the 8" mono coil. Can you go up to an 11" minelab commander mono without issues? Keen to hear from other F1A4 users on experiences with other coils.

yes mate i best coil i use is the old 450mm kevlar coil litz wire sim to uxo coil on the f1,s ,the standard one is great also, in very bad ground i run the old coiltek kanga coil big red .
