WOW, Not one South Australian detector club listed. Why?
Does any one know of a club in SA that is planning GOLD field trips this year?

SOUTH AUSTRALIAN DETECTOR CLUBS Empty yep i would aggree

Post  krakenup Tue May 06, 2014 5:13 pm

Yes i would aggree with that i first joined the southern seekers club and enjoyed the company of likewise fellow detectorists. We once went on an outing with the club to victoria, it was an organised trip with about 36 of us going along on the bus, they supplied the tents, cooking stuff ect. It was the best outing i have been on then or since. It cost if i remember about $350 all up that included everything. We would be driven to the goldfield to be detected on that day, and eagerly set off detecting, when it was lunchtime back to the bus to a lovely laid on buffet lunch with coffee, cold drinks ect, then back into the detecting. At the end of the days detecting back to the caravan park to a nice hot shower and then a lovely bbq tea all cooked ready and waiting courtesy of the driver and his lovely wife. Next day same again at another gold area, and nice cooked tea gain ect. Then the last day off to as other gold area and lunch andtea laid on, after which we all swapped stories of the days detecting and finds admired and drooled over by those not luck to find the elusive goldys. Then it was back on the bus to Adelaide. It was the best and memorable trip i have been on. It would be great to see these trips more often they would be very much appreciated. So clubs are a very benifisial idea indeed. Ok so that's. It hope it made some of you more inclined to like the idea of joining a club, as you will meet and maake new friends also. Regards krakenup. Ken.
