COILTEK 14" ROUND GOLDSTALKER MONO
G'day Fellow Prospectors,
Just trying to chase up some feedback on the 14" Round Coiltek Goldstalker preferably coupled with a GPX series detector? did you find this coil stable with good sensitivity and depth? or one that you wouldn't hesitate to leave at home on your next trip out?
Thanks in advance,
James.

Re: COILTEK 14" ROUND GOLDSTALKER MONO
G'day gents.
The current line of 14 and 16 inch round Goldstalker monos are 2 coils I wouldn't hesitate to take out with me on the field. They both work very well on all the GPX series detectors showing a slight edge in sensitivity to that of similar sized Nugget Finders, with good ground balance and stability over a majority of ground conditions.I have no hesitation in recommending either coil as an all rounder over most types of ground with the 14 inch as my personal preference to the tinier bits as well as showing superb depths on the larger slugs of gold buried deep.
Cheers Gents Kon.

Re: COILTEK 14" ROUND GOLDSTALKER MONO
gday shreeve i have had a 14 round gold stalker for many years now and is very sensitive on small gold ,the only problem i see and encounter is alot of clearance around skid plate and coil allowing dirt to enter quite easily ,i have taped all open edges,,its so light can swing all day ,becomes a bit niosy on heavy magnetic ironstone .it is coil of choice on my 4500....

Hi James
I used this coil on the 5000 and it was a perfect match, ran quiet and very light to use.
