Re: burketown gold?
Some historical gold activity about 10 -20 km west of Nicholson Queensland, there names are Fortune, Eagle Buck creek, Red Hill. Tjuambi, Golara, Namalangi, Garee, Barren creek and Huarabagoo. These are the closest to Burketown and are west near NT-Qld boarder. That's all I can tell you.joe82 wrote:hi all, just wondering if anyone knows of any gold in the Burketown area ( was there even any gold there) if anyone has detected or knows anything about that area it whould be great to here, cheers joe.
