It would be nice
Just got to love research, while I was doing just that I came across this location
A 50kg sample of rubble and rock chips from a quartz vein returned 10ozs of gold. A further 14ozs of gold in the form of nuggets was obtained from nearby alluvial material Nuggets were 2 to 40 grams in weight.
Yet the location does not look like it has been work at all
Why don't I pack my troopy and drive to airport drive into my Chinook and fly out there and send afew days cleaning up
Might have to get this polit to take me out there as I am sure I would not be able to park like him

Pack your bags were in there, I like these one's no roads just means we will have to do a hit and run job here:D
Channel sampling of the gossan returned results of up to 58.3g/t Au. The prospect is located within the Aboriginal Land Claim. This locality was not visited due to lack of road access.
We better hurry the foreign investors are going to bet us to it, taking the lot out open cut:cyclops:

Re: It would be nice
Hi David,
I just got to work out where to put the jackhammer and which bike or quad and damn, I just unpacked the van and it.s not the first time I've been on aboriginal land (it seems to be everywhere!!!)
How far did you say it was....5000km trip that's about 10 tankfulls of juice $1500 that's 1oz for fuel each....that's doable!!!!
Gunna have to buy some paint on suntan as I got white feet and a white butt and they stand out a bit in a crowd otherwise I might pass as a local
Can we shift it down a bit closer!!!
Ron

Re: It would be nice
Hi Dave,
I'm finkin bring it down a bit lower and we could meet in the middle:lol:
If it's next year I could do some nudi baking to get the tan right:face:
On a more serious note though, you never hear of NT gold and by looking at the KML it's as full on as Kalgoorlie Leo or Lav
There should be enough left for us folk
Let us know if your serious!!!

Re: It would be nice
Well it looks like we have a team already, what adventure it would be for sure to entire the heart of the remote areas of the NT Goldfields I have spoke to my Prospecting mates many times in regards to how I would too start at one point with Quad bike's and support vehicles and just track yourself through the most remote areas in search of the undiscovered runs and patches of gold with a detector.
It sure is a large area and no one would cover all of it in there live time but we could make a start
Just look at al those Fault Lines
We could make a start Here

It up to you to take a run out there and pick up some samples ( leave some or us lot "LoL") Now you have all the info, I can just see now all outside at home packing there truck who is going to be there first.
Is will be Bigger then the great Race "LoL"
Several rock chip assays returned with anomalous gold values and the best result returned from sample no 15458 as 21.8 ppm Au and other anomalous results include 3.9 ppm Au from sample no 15455 0.9 ppm Au from 15452 and 3.8 ppm Au from 15460
Wallys Gully 2
A 50kg sample (WG16) of rubble and rock chips from a quartz vein returned 10ozs of gold. A further 14ozs of gold in the form of nuggets was obtained from nearby alluvial material Nuggets were 2 to 40 grams in weight.
