External Speaker.

Hi all,
I want to purchase a external speaker to ose with my 4000.Hot days wearing ear phones is not the best with wearing a hat etc.
How have others found the use of an external speaker using their 4000 detectors.Does it work how you wanted it to.Any feed back would be appreciated.

Try the Nokia MD-11 Good quality and cheap. I mounted mine down on the detector, Whites TDI pro. The speaker has excellent sound.

I use the "Low Feedback" speaker from Bendigogold $29.95 free postage. It is very good and better than some others I have used which do feedback when you are close to the coil as in running the dug material over the coil to find the target.
With the 4000 you need a booster, the Detacc supersound made for the 4000 works very well. Again Bendigogold often have them for about $60 second hand.
I am one of the people who find the speaker with a booster to be a great help in finding gold.
