plug stuk on my 4000
okay so o got a dirty 4000 but in very good nik thort i would do a detail and clean on it but the plug that gose to the pin point button is kind a stuck
i see in the manual it looks to be able to come out but i dont wont to just yank it out
any ideas it moves side to side okay so do i put a little more pressure on it or is it ment to unplug easy
please help i have saved for 12 months to get this detector would hate to stuff it before i get to go out with it

Yep these can get very tight , my advice is if its working ok , and you dont have to remove it , dont !
They have a small lip that is an interference fit in the rubber .
If you have to remove it , try gently wiggling it as you pull the plug , being carefull not to to pull on the wire.
These are my pet hates on the GPX's !!!

Mate that is normal, on all the GPX machines from the 4000 to the 4500 & the 5000 these plugs are all damn tight, but they do come out and like you say it feels like for sure it's gonna break.
Just be firm with it and it will come out.
