Minelab Eureka, or what? Empty Minelab Eureka, or what?

G'day fellas my names Jacob, i joined this forum 2 minutes ago. I'm on a strict budget of $1300. I took a look at minelab on the minersden website im looking at 1200 for a Minelab Eureka. I currently own a very outdated Gold Bug. And i wanted to grab opinions on detectors. I'm down in victoria and will be visiting the Victorian gold fields. Would the Eureka be a good a good choice or is there better for 1300? If so what and where?
