NEL COILS what are they
So have been seeing heaps of people using NEL coils on their Xterra's
Does anyone have the honest true specs on these as lots of people bag them out on different sites but yet the people I see with them won't use anything else.
Are they waterproof ?
Are they counterfeit copies of other brands ?
Are they good the money ?
Do they void Minelabs Warranty using one ?
If they are great units why doesn't someone in Aus stock them ?
If you have one or more I would like to hear some good bad or warranty issues !!!!
Cheers Tony

Re: NEL COILS what are they
I use one on my Garrett AT Pro, its the 12" Hunter, a great coil, stays on the machine full time, punches deep too.
I had it in the hot ground up in the gold fields recently, i was relic hunting, didnt bother it or the machine not like it did with my CTX.
cheers

Re: NEL COILS what are they
And i must add, yes they are waterproof
Are they counterfeit? not that i am aware, you need to check with copyright law in the Ukraine and what are they counterfeiting? they make a hotter coil than stock, its wound different so end of any copyright.
Are they good the money? very good
Do they void minelab warranty? how would they? thats your choice of coil, so thats your problem, but they are not going to blow your machine up. I dont know of any NEL for Minelab PI machines but they do roll them out for Etrac and Xterra
If they are great units why doesn't someone in Aus stock them ? Having someone sell them in Australia is not a recommendation that they are any good. I buy from NEL and had my coil within 2 weeks, you order he makes it then posts asap.
