New here and best metal detector opinion

Howdy everyone, we are new here and look forward to posting all of our adventures and experiences. My wife and I just recently became involved in prospecting and now we are looking for a good metal detector. We have six in mind and would like personal opinions on the best machine. in favorable order we are looking at the Minelab Etrac, Garrett AT Pro, Goldmaster GMT, Fisher Gold Bug 2, Minelab Eureka Gold, and Tesoro Lobo SuperTrac. We will be prospecting in Northern California searching for small nuggets and flakes. We appreciate everyone's opinion . Thanx

When your talking small to tiny gold,you can't go past the Gold Bug 2 coupled to a 6.5 inch coil to suit,followed by the Whites GMT coupled to its 4.6 inch DD elliptical coil.
