I've been on the side for quite a while now and thought I'd jump in and join the forum.
Have a 4500 which is a long long way from paying for itself.
The forum certainly has a lot of info about all things detecting.

Good luck with your new venture.
Keep looking in here if you need any help getting the best out of your GPX-4500.
If you can't find what you are looking for, ask, and I feel sure you will get help.
Takes time getting onto gold, so don't be dis-heartened if you don't come home every trip out with a few rattlers in your jar.

Yes welcome Groper, I go out with the attitude that I am there to enjoy the bush and getting in touch with nature. Gold, if I get any which so far hasn't happened, is a bonus. Good luck with the search though you have a good detector to help you do so.
