Hi all and new to this forum
Hi all.
been a longtime since i did any prospecting, used to do dredging and panning up around Walhalla in Gippsland before i met a woman :-)
anyway 1 year separated after 27 years together and time to pull the finger out and get out and about again, I live in Morwell and have just purchased a little camper
and looking into a new detector.
any help as these were not around when i was into it all, any suggestions for a newbie or any clubs around the area.
thanks

Looking forward to hear some old stories.
There are quite few different detectors around and which one will suits you depend what will you look for.
How much money want you to spend and how many detecting days you will have.
Well ask any questions and read as many posts.

Re: Hi all and new to this forum
G'day John and welcome to the forum. Depends how much your budget will allow you to spend on a detector. The best detector would be a M/L PI they are expensive but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. If you can afford the best then the GPX4500 or GPX5000 are the best on the market.
Cheers.
