What to add to water
To reduce surface tension what do you add.......lve been told soap.....told not to use soap
rinse aid..... told not to use rince aid????
so what is the best product to use????

Assuming you aren't in the creek, a blob of dishwashing liquid. In the creek you just gotta deal with it

Too much of anything changes the SG of water! fresh cool river or creek water wins hands down!
I tried rinse aid and it seemed to work really well until the water was overdosed with the stuff, then the gold started to move with the other heavies
Trick is to not let the flour gold be without water for to long!
if I have to pause for a bit of a scratch or whatever, re-stratifying and starting again seems to be the best option to avoid floaties!!

Drink heavily...rub the effected area.....yell at the missus.....buy something......do a burnout......poke a stick through the fence at the neighbors dog......all good remedies for tension relief.To reduce surface tension
Oh hang on...your talking a different kind of tension.
