Minelab 2200v2 trouble shooting

Hi there , Im Russel from Queenstown area ,New Zealand. Im hoping someone can help out. My Minelab 2200 v2 (blue one) seems to have developed a sreeching noise which wont go away. Like it is detecting a new target all the time even held up in the air.I m afraid i noticed water dripping from the wire box during and outing .(Blush) It has been carrying out these symptons ever since.(surpise surprise) Can someone tell me what has happened exactly and where I should send it to for a look over.I have tried new coils, cables ,batterys and believe its in the big box of wires. Any help would be greatly appreciated to pinpoint the problem . Cheers from Dumby.

Russel, do not go underwater dive detecting in the Shotover River or near Arrowtown in the lakes with a 2200v2. The control box is not waterproof.

But seriously though, listen to Robert and send it back for repair to get it fixed.
