help setting up the 4500
Hi all I recenty brought a 4500 and very happy with its performance, i have been using it with its default settings but would like to start using the menus to enhance the performance. Could someone tell the order in which I should start setting up the machine.
I have read the book but with and the different options in the set up menu I'm unsure which option I should start with and finnish with.
any surgestions greatly appreciated.

Re: help setting up the 4500
Hi captain, Are you using the standard 11" DD or running a mono coil?

help setting up the 4500
Hi GoldstalkerGPX I'm using a 11'' mono. I have other coils but I have pickd up a few nuggets using this coil am reluctant to go to a bigger mono coil or DD in case I compromise the sensitivity I'm getting with the factory preset settings.

Re: help setting up the 4500
Hi Captain
I would recomend you buy JPs vid on the 4500,I have one for every machine Ive purchased and they are invaluable. As minelab machines have become more adjustable,To sit and watch a vid makes it far easier to get a good understanding of their features
Cheers Dig

Along with viewing JP's DVD, spend some time looking through the many posts on this forum regarding the setting up of the range of Minelab detectors.
There are many posts still in view on this page about settings for a 4500 and yet the same question is asked over and over again.
