So many times I keep running into SCA's when used to be state forest.
And it seems to be the interesting areas as well.

Latest SCA review Empty Would appear to have been a deliberate move in 2010-11 to stop fossicking/prospecting competition

As in, a permit from the state forests that looked after those areas of interest allowed u fossicking access and Exploration licenses did not stop u fossicking on their license. So u could get access to the areas and fossick and just maybe if u were lucky u'd get something worthwhile and might have been able to make a claim or just happily prospect it all as u could.

Now they have found a way by transferring from state forest to state conservation areas, noteably was targetting those very mineral areas we are interested in. As a SCA fossicking i think is denied, they dont really state it openly just in the small print somewhere. So those exploration licenses which cover 99% of the state and those 64,000 hectares transferred to National parks of which the 16,000 hectares made SCA were deliberately reserved for big business to mine as they find time. Knowing that no one can fossick on it and take a claim ahead of them once they had an exploration license on it as state forests can no longer give access as is a SCA.

Note they state many times that exploration and mining is intentially allowed. but I am sure if I go with my metal detector and get discovered I would
be some sort of bother.

So a conservation area , really a reserved for mining company area but not for public to fossick on.

And when big business say they arent interested etc it goes to a national park not back to state forest.

So we need access for SCA and National parks.

As eventually all the areas will become National Parks.

Like I needed another reason to dislike Labor government.

U know its suss when the former state forest now SCA or wildlife preserve is labelled as Private property.
