Hi Ararat, Sweet! just when your about to leave eh!!! seems to be a common theme, heard the tale many times now and it happened to a friend when we were out recently , small and of not much value really but a great little faith restorer for her and even gave me a little pickup at the time, I do it deliberately on the walk out or back to the car just hoping that it will happen to me and I can add that yarn to me yarn store, Happy new year to you and yours.

Hi Paul, great little nugget that. I found a piece once just by leaving my detector on, coil to the ground without swinging and walking back to the car. Sweet finds those ones that just pop out of the blue, totally unexpected.

true mate keep that coil on the ground even when ya knocking off and walking back to the car ive found about 4 or 5 nuggets doing that.
