A Tip for new folk's

To the new comers, welcome to a world of frustraion, ellation & awesomeness that is gold fever.
If you are hell bent on finding gold, then there is one thing that I suggest for all whom venture out in the search.
Get yourself a "Gold Pan" learn how to use it, a pan will when used correctly find you some colour more frequently than your detector, it may be small but that glint of colour will keep you interested when things are not going so well detecting.
Panning also lets you know that there is actually gold in the area you are working.
