Hi people, wife and self spending a week around wedderburn from Sat 22/9. Staying at the caravan park. Be pleased to hook up with any forum memebers in the vacinity. Just a thought

Hi there

From Adelaide and my Dad and I went to the Wedderburn/Dunnoly are Easter 2011 seeking (but not finding) gold. Found lots of Junk. I had my second hand (but new to me) minelab X-Terra 70, which managed to find lots of junk...more experienced people have told me i was using a toy, not a real mccoy detector.

Planning on heading back sometime later this year, but will be taking something stronger (probably loaning a GPX 4500 or GPX 5000).

If you go again, in Wedderburn is the Hard Hill park where you can stay for free (they ask for a donation). Basic camping facilities including WARM showers and toilets are provided. We stayed for 6 nights and donated $40 for which they were very greatful.
