PS: It was minus 1c here in Tarnagulla last night. Ice outside. The forecast is for rain from Thursday thru Sunday!

Are there many people booked for Thursday arvo? I will be out and about up the road prospecting on Thursday and thought about calling in to say g'day on my way home to old Maldon town. It might be my only chance to catch up to meet other members of the forum and make myself known. FRI and SAT are now out for me due to some business commitments however I am still trying to organize things to get there on Sunday.

I am sure that the camp will be a great success and congratulations to Mariner and the crew and sponsors who have put the whole show together.

Without try to sound like a wet blanket (pardon the pun), the weather for Fri/Sat/Sun is less than impressive.

Hopefully just because its raining in Melbourne, doesn't mean its raining in Laancoorie.

....wet on the outside...wet on the inside...little difference as I see it...I am taking my Garrett Infinium as well and you can dive to 200 metres with it...so providing it does not get that wet!...all you Minelabers can peer from your tent flaps while I collect all the yella stuff!.....may even hire it out by the hour...Lol.....of course I will have my 5000 as well in case the sun comes out from behind the rain clouds.....good luck everyone, it's about the comraderie I'm certain rather than the detecting whatever happens...I'm even taking my wife and she has a stack of books she can finally get around to reading.... she tells me.....Hoo Roo

All the organisation is coming together well, we have one small problem and that is I cannot get in contact with Rohan from Nugget Finder Coils, if anyone can get hold of him and ask him to check his emails or give me a call it would be appreciated.

Safe trip to all from whatever points of the compass you are coming from, take it easy on the roads as it does look a little wet Friday but clearing for the weekend ( wishful thinking )

Looking at the MET forecast I'm optimistic it will be partly sunny for the weekend. Hopefully the crappy weather will pass through here quickly over the next couple of days so the weekend can be fine. Its chillin off around here at the moment .....but nothing a warm fire and or a bit of warm sun during the day doesnt fix.
