Re Shouth of Charters Towers

Hi just wondering what area south of the Towers I am currently living in collinsville and have been looking around here for somewhere to detect. With the Mount Coolon area so close there would have to be some virgin areas in the back blocks. Also the Townsville detectors club is it open to people from all areas. Thanks Chris

Welcome to this forum, there is an area near you called MT Whyatt not sure on the spelling, I am pretty sure there is gold around Mt Coolon.
The Townsville club is open to anyone who wants to join.
