Pay to detect near charters towers

Hi all just putting it out there, grass hut stn just south of the towers has camping and detecting for a fee powered and unpowered sites with toilet and hot showers, they are located about 15km along the Minglea- Ravenswood road

I cant seem to locate a grass hut stn south of charters towers, only one south of Mingela.

Carried out a bit of research on that property and over on PA it was stated that it was $50/day to prospect back in 2016. A mate also called them up the other day and, although the phone connection was poor, thought they said it was $75/day..... I'm afraid that's a bit rich for me

Yeah she said they get a few there but COVID has slowed it up, they will allocate you a paddock for the day but if you have a map or a area you would like to look that would be ok, there is some historical mines there that she doesn’t no about coz I asked her about that, but the price may seem high but would you find it???

“ Prices Are
$35 powered $25 non powered (for up to 2 adults) for camping on our turfed caravan area, with access to good water & simple amenities with hot water. Washing machine $10/load.

Kids 5+ OR dogs bigger than toy dogs are $5 extra/night.

Detecting is $75/day for any one person in our paddocks. ½ price kids 6-12yo. <6yo free, 13+ full rates.

Daylight hours detecting only. No camping in the paddocks.

No charge for those who stay at the camp during the day.
4 bars Optus phone service at the camp and in the paddock. “

Seems dear $$ to me. I’d check with owner for any updates before going there.

I thought the $75 was the cave tour and damper smoko stn tour but it may have gone up from 3 weeks ago when I called ????? Not to worrie, here is there number for anyone wanting to give it a lap 0413 397 075
