Something Strange In The Clouds

A short sharp and nasty little storm raged across us yesterday afternoon.
Powerful wind rain and hail and some very angry lightning that was a bit too close for comfort.
Massive storm clouds were brightly lit by the sun from the west.....Only lasted 5 minutes fortunately.
I was watching the lightning when I noticed something moving around in the upper levels of some very neat looking cloud and managed to snap a few very fuzzy pics of it.
Whatever it was it remained in the cloud and disappeared from view as the storm moved away to the East.

A bit fuzzy due to being inside the cloud.




Tried to enhance it a bit. The dark object can be seen inside/surrounded by a circular misty area.

it's a mystery, eye of the storm/nucleus.
Maybe the BOM would know??

It does as you said, look like an eye.
Not sure who would be able to help with this?
Have not been able to locate a contact for the BOM.....
    Whatever it is/was it was moving freely about in the cloud and did not change shape like it would if it was a type of cloud or some kind of atmospheric vortex.

Ahhh that takes me back , the   out of  focus  photo of that flying saucer  / lock ness  monster , ive got a fuzzy pic  snapped  from a planes window as  I left Australia of a circular  rainbow , didnt they used to make a specialist camera  for taking these ut of  focus pics ?

If you go high enough, all atmospheric rainbows appear circular.

Tried to enhance the object in the clouds a bit more. pic Not much better but something was definitely there.
