SDC 2300 Skid plate

A mate of mine put an aftermarket Black skid plate on his SDC 2300.

Since doing that, he has found virtually no gold which is totally not normal for him.

Any thoughts anyone ? cheers Pete.

That's weird,has he done any testing ie, before and after skid plate,would be interesting.
?skid plate to thick??

Jen has used several of the NF black skid plates on her 2300 and never had any problems.

If youre concerned about the material the skid plate is made from, try removing the skid plate and see if its detectable. Also, using a small bit of gold, do an air test with and without the skidplate.
That should either set your mind at rest or highlight a problem with the material used on the new skidplate.
