havnt been west before .of in a week .hoping to pick up 14 grams between us a week for 14 weeks wats anyone who knows the place think

Hi Guys, If you know how to use the 4500 ,You have some hope.. If you can get on to some good ground you have a little more hope..A gram a day for newbes mmmmm, maybe.. a big ask..BUT can be done...
Thinking you can is the best way to go...the wife and I pulled 23oz last year in 10 weeks.. just lucky..thats all it is luck ...so good luck guys , do your home work!!!!!! It can be fun and it can be crappppp..Bob

been fine tuning at mt brown.took both machines got 28 peices for 5 days ,not sure settings will be the same over west .

Thats ok its not an easy job ..Just use a mono coil on the 4500 and your job will be a little easier.. the bigger the better.. I use a 24+12 NF , All the time, have dug a 5and a half oz @ 3ft. and 0.2 gram bits 2-3 inchs..just go low and slow...In the west FLYS will give you a bad time...good camping gear and water is a must..just make sure that you go to the mines dep. and get a tengraph of where you want to go..things are a bit HOT with ground just now .. There are some that think they own the lot.. But there is some pending ground left....but you have to look....will PM you some setting that work on the 4500 if you want...again good luck..Bob

have 3 20a in the mail settings would be good we realise some trial and error is neccesary.the theory we have is we will try and find somewhere better than mt brown if we cant do that we will be seeing something new anyway.
