Mounting 20” Coil on a GPX4500
With a 20” round coil is it necessary to use a one piece GRP(Glass Reinforced Plastic) shaft or is it acceptable to mount the coil on a standard GRP ML push in lower shaft? Is there much interference from the aluminium upper shaft or does the 4500 ground balance feature cancel out the metal in the upper shaft? Is there available a GRP upper shaft? Feedback, opinion and suggestions most welcome.

Hi Adrian,
Otto make both upper and lower GRP shafts.
Thier lower shafts come in about 3 different lengths which makes them very adjustable for blokes taller than a midget, it also gets those bigger coils at a maximum distance from the crap you might have on you
