10.8gm cube nugget Gold_015



After many days working in the field, for only six nuggets under 1gm, a week ago I got a 2.7gm at 13" deep. I returned to the same location last Tuesday and got the 1gm nugget shaped like a handgun. Went out for many hours on Wednesday with no results but then on Thursday after 4 hours, I got this 10.8gm nugget at 12" deep. (I have called it the Cube nugget.) Thanks to Rowdy for his help on the birth of this nugget from Mother Nature.

Hi Warragul,
I can't claim any credit for this find, I just showed up when he had done all but the last scrape or two to get the nugget out. I'm not sure if two bob was shaking because he found the nugget or because the exercise from digging had got to him. Glad I was there to see it though as it was a great find.
