WA trip haul
Hi,
Finally got around to posting our finds from the WA trip . We found it a bit tough as its way different from vico, but got some nice bits in the end, so we were pretty happy with results. driving home i was already planning a trip for next year. .total wt nuggets was 7g, probably 2g in the speciman.
cheers GM

Re: WA trip haul
cheers mate,
we spent too much wasted time looking for new ground/ patches, so id recommend stayin close to the old diggins, unless youve got heaps of time on your hands. of course research is the key over there, the areas are so vast. i found even with spots marked on our gps and tracks written in from google earth, it was still hard to get to some spots as tracks had grown over n such. coilwise i came down from big coils with no sucess to the std 14x9nf in the end as this produced all the nuggets which were pretty small as you can see. but each to their own as its only our first trip over there.

Re: WA trip haul
Nice finds there GM, glad you found something in the end, your right you need to have plenty of time and plenty of research.... Yes some of the tracks we have tried to look for are no longer there. I think they must get washed away or something.
Cheers.
Mike.
