sofala area gold
hi all
i went on a mission today to try and get on some private property , i asked 7 owners they all said no
i wasnt having much luck , so decided to go for a swing for an hr or so i got to coles bridge and gus was there
i stopped for a quick chat then headed for sofala
i got there and decided to go to a spot were i keep finding little bits , i swung over a little scrape i did last time when the emi was bad and got a sweet signal i lifted the moss and there it was a 0.14 looking at me i found 2 other bits nearby for a grand total of 0.93 so was very happy with that for an hrs detecting
the little heart shaped 0.14 was the one i missed last time, so it shows different conditions on a different day you may find some that you missed last time! all found with my new14/7 nugget finder this is now my favorite coil

Re: sofala area gold
Maybe try offering them half of anything you find up front, that may cause them to view you in a different light

Did that they didn't go for it so I'll respect their desicion and leave it at that
Plenty more to try they all don't say no

Hi lbg, you're doing well, it seems your drought is over,
regardless of access to private property or not. Keep at it, you never know and might get lucky with a landowner...?

Well they are difficult to get along with then, someone must have really upset them!
Re: sofala area gold
Hi lbg dreamer. Well done on your finds. It's a shame about the knock backs, but it's hard for property owners to trust anyone these days especially as there are some complete dic###### that over the years have spoiled a good thing. Easier to say no to everyone.
I got out for a swing on Sunday near wattle flat. Managed to remove lots of bullets, nails etc before the rain came in.
