Information on Reedy Creek Vic

Trying to find put information about Reedy creek Vic and a place called Nugget gully about 6klm down streem? Have been doing some panning in the area and getting some gold which is not smooth but has rough and jaggered edges. One piece about as big as a match head and the others much smaller and then flakes. Does the shape mean i am close to the source? Have tried up stream but can not seem to find much. There was abig flood went through the area about 6 months ago. Hope someone can help have only been prospecting for a 4 months so yes i am only a newbie to this.

Gday Colbybailey sounds like you could be near the source, check along the banks if you panned it near on of the banks then check very carefully around that area, once the ruff gold cuts out when going up stream you know you have gone past the point of entry into the stream. Should have said to that i panned gold from one side of bank and middle of creek. Also found a quarts vein that runs across the creek. It was all but rotted away. It is about 200 metres up stream is it worth digging it up ?
