18 " dd commander
does anyone use a 18" dd commander coil in the golden triangle . just wondering if they are worth using . cheers papoutsi

G'day Papoutsi.
Apart from the weight factor,the 18 inch Commander DD works well on all the Minelab pulse detectors.Only advantage you'll get on any of the GPX series by swinging the 18 DD MLC over the same size mono,is better stability when working over hotter ground and prone to less EMI than the mono.Can and has picked up smaller than 1 gram size gold close to or nearer the surface,but generally to be used for gold above the gram mark and where monos of same size struggle over the hotter ground conditions.

cheers kon , l use an mono 17 " 11" elliptical nugget finder and find l can get this coil very stable and its very sensitive for its size . cheers papoutsi
