Yes mate there are still big nuggets out there but they are few and far between now days. Not like the 1850's or the 1970's, 80's & 90's when the first detectors came out and then again when the 2000 came out. Most big gold may be down deep, that is were the old times found most of it.

Has gold stopped production under the crust and I wonder if deeper gold down below, does the earths internal forces ever push it up closer to the
surface over many many years?
