First nuggets- doin the happy dance tonight!!!

hi all,
i had my first trip out with the gp3000 today. and what a day!
2 nuggies- 2 grams and 9 grams.
first detected gold ever! will never forget that. i couldnt believe what was in my hand! it was a hot and humid day so i didnt spend long there. it was a terribly trashy area with so many iron targets. im am astounded at how small the 3000 will pick up (rubbishwise). i will be returning there when it cools down (or when i can get there at first light!) to do a more comprehensive search. im sure there is plenty more there.
note- i dont have gold scales yet so ill update with more accurate weights when i get them officially weighed. although our kitchen scales are preatty dang good mind you.

Very nice. They must be breeding.

Corydale nice gold mate specially for your first finds. I too have a 3000 that I use to use before I got my 5000 (I've still got the 3000) and I was always supprised of the small sizes it could pick up. But my 5000 can run more stable than the 3000 and that is why it can now pick up the sub- grams better than the 3000.
