Just sold a batch of about 100 small sub gram nuggets 93%purity to gold buyers melbourne. They payed cash $46 per gram (spot on day was $51)for them and i found them very easy and quick to deal with. Also just next to a bank and they payed my car parking ticket. Much easy than stuffing around on ebay with questions, fees, post and non payers to get only a few dollars more per gram.

My experience with Gold Buyers Melbourne was quite the opposite. They had advertised on their website a very high price, so I decided to go into the city to sell some nuggets and jewellery. After the person serving quoted me, the price I had calculated to what he said came in quite lower than expected. I then discovered that since the morning when I looked at the price (Around 10:00am) to at the time of selling (around 1:00pm) that the advertised price had been dropped by around 70 cents per gram!! I know for a fact the gold price hadn't changed. On top of this he said they charge a 5% commission. When I got home I later calculated it was more like an 8% commission. Be careful with these guys make sure you calculate the actual price they are willing to pay before going in to sell to them.
