Gday Wombat

I have not used the minelab supergoldsearch 8" mono on the gpx5000 but do still currently use one on my gpx4500 and its excellent, they are of course and old coil and the one on ebay is overpriced for what it is so I would think that buying a new 8" round commander mono would be a wiser investment than to pay what they are asking for this one, and at least you have warranty with it as well.

The older coils do develope issues such as falsing, and become touch sensitive as its common for the windings to become loose inside the coil case, my one has done this but I was able to open it up and repair it, buying one without being able to test it first is a bit dicey, the only reason I have not replaced mine with the commander one is because I have found so much gold with it.

cheers

Wombat one was listed today on Ebay for $100 but i would listen to StayyerAU & the seller as he is only selling it as he now has the latest 8" mono. ( My thoughts only )
Cheers
