Great day out of Talbot

Hi all, Went gold detecting Wednesday and Thursday with, Glen ( Gully hunter ), Mike (fire1aus) and Bill (Eureka Dreams) Bill showed us one his spots in Talbot ( thanks Bill) where he pinged a 6.8 gram nug the other day, Glen and I went detecting on the road side of a gully when we managed to find a small patch of gold, it was in an area of 50x50 feet and pulled out some nice gold, I ended up with 13 Nuggets 3.52 grams, Glen with 11 Nuggets 3.3 grams off this one patch, what a great day we had and thanks Bill, Mike and Glen for a great day out.

Great videos Johnny...It was really good to catch up with you again for a detect along with gully hunter and fire1aus and his wife Jenny,and a top day was had by all I also witnessed the battle of the Titans as the "Mighty 5000" went nugget for nugget with gully hunter`s "Silky smooth 4500" and with a lot of good hearted banter and some ****stirring thrown in for good measure had us all laughing

Congratulations Johnny and Glen on a very respectable yield of nuggets from your patch.It was great to see and HEAR some very,very faint whispers of signals turning into retrieved nuggets.I certainly went away with some very useful tips and insights into how others approach their detecting...that knowledge will help me to become a better detectorist.

Great gold guys/girls.
It look like that detecting together with fellow members is very much alive in Victoria on a regular bases.
Its great to see and fantastic for us newbies.We can read heaps of great info here but then we are able to see it in the real fields from much more experienced members.
Thanks for sharing the videos and experience.

back to work on Tuesday and my weekends are heavily socially booked for Jan, but I will still try to find the odd day for a detect.
