The "Welcome Phil" nugget
On Wednesday at Moliagul I unearthed the 0.9g "Welcome Phil" nugget, found within sight of the monument to Deason & Oates' 78,925 times heavier find, the Welcome Stranger nugget.
As you can see, it is not scarred by pick marks, nor did I require the services of a blacksmith with anvil, but you never know, it may have originated from the same reef as it's slightly larger relative ; a tenuous link to a piece of history, perhaps ?
