Oallen Gold
1.2 Gr of Shoalhaven River Gold. Two days work so we were not very impressed with the results. It is always small but usually more plentiful. 31º out there today so it was time to pack up & come home.

Re: Oallen Gold
Nice going there franma, heading out to Oallen myself for a quick overnighter. Never get much but allways helps keep the gold fevor at bay

Just planning on test panning a bit before the sun goes down and hopefully get setup ready to dig a lil in the morning before it gets too hot

Re: Oallen Gold
have a bit of a pan where we left. You will see it. We left a face about 4-5 metres wide & a metre deep. You will have to get rid of the overburden. Don't worry about washing it.
On the flat just up from the road between the river & the stoney flats to the right from the Nerriga side of the main crossing road. We were getting 30-40 specs a pan when we tested it. VERY small but they add up when you put it through the sluice. Good luck.
