Newbie to forum - Sydney Info
Gday all,
I've only recently found this forum and figured I'd sat hi.
I'm an absolute beginner to prospecting and very keen to give it a go, but know that I'll be going in circles without some initial guidance.
Is anyone from Sydney heading out in the up coming months and wouldn't mind a tagalong??
Or is anyone here part of one of the clubs based in sydney?
Many thanks

Re: Newbie to forum - Sydney Info
hi and welcome to the forum.
If you head to Victoria one day i am sure plenty guys here will take you for a day out.
As other suggested best things in to join the detecting club. They usually have monthly detecting trip so good chance to meet and learn.
Enjoy

newbie to forum and prospecting
mate try and join a club ,dont get sucked in by all the hype in some of the mags and dont be disappointed by all the rubbish and crap that you will find as you go,because somewhere down the track you will find a piece of the yellow stuff ,and when you do you will experience what every one of the thousands before has good luck and good hunting al

Wishful_thinking welcome to the site mate. You have come to a good spot with plenty of help for the new comers. I also recommend you to join a club, it's a great way to start.

Looks like a club is the way to go lol

Windsor! am an ex RAAFie, and used to live in an old house
immediately across the bridge over the Nepean River. That was
a long time ago though. The house is probably gone. Windsor
was still country then
