4500 with 18''-12'' coiltek mono

hi im new to this and have brought myself a 4500 and coiltek 18'' by 12'' mono gold stalker ,iv been out a few times now with not much luck ,and a starting to wonder if my setting are wrong i am in kalgoorlie area wa any help on settings for my set up would be much appreciated

If your new just use factory preset settings and you should do fine.Finding gold isn't easy.

Totally of topic, Hay kingfish I just fell in. I used to fish for kingfish of the rocks at Green Cape, big game rods with balloons and sea snakes and crabs! I miss that part of my life.

Id have to agree with you someday I was up there mid Feb stayed at Wonboyn caravan park and went fishing off pulpit rock awesome place and rated as one of the best rock fishing spots in Oz and id have to agree. One thing though I did notice was on the track leading up to pulpit rock there was some nice looking quartz so i pulled over and had a closer guese and the ground looked promising, Kingfish have you ever had any luck in these areas?
