NFA 24X12 ENHANCE
Hello fellow prospectors,
just wondering if anyone has used a 24x12 NFA coil on a 4500 in enhance? and if so where you confident that you were achieving decent depth?
cheers,
James

Re: NFA 24X12 ENHANCE
Well Harry, the post was put up in June 11 and I was just thinking that exact same question the other day and thought I'd do a little search and came across this post, but it hadn't been answered in is now almost 2 years later, so I "bumped" it so it would go back to the top and then someone might answer the question, or someone might ask me what "bump" means, but preferably answer the question.

Re: NFA 24X12 ENHANCE
G'day James.
The 24x12 NF has almost as much depth as an 18 inch round mono.Be assured you'll be getting maximum depth on targets the size of a 5 cent coin in diameter and above, over the higher sections of mineralized ground.I'v owned both the NF 24x12 as well as the 18 NF round, and the deepest I'v gone over medium mineralization on a brass shirt or jean button(slightly smaller than a 5 cent coin) was 18 measured inches.
Cheers kon61.

Re: NFA 24X12 ENHANCE
Thanks Kon, I presumed it would be less than a 18", possible a 16" round, but I'm splitting hairs here. It's the larger footprint that interested me. There's a Coiltek on fleabay at the moment that I was "thinking" about and got the brain starting to tick, but I suppose NF or Coiltek is much of a muchness. Amount of ground noise compared to a round is also another question...
Shiraz, you are a LIAR!!! Computer illiterate, my a**e!! I can see you are very prolific in the navigating around a keyboard so I tend to think it's just a case of maybe one too many shirazs at 10.14pm at night when you posted your question.

Your a**e has nothing to do with my computer illiteracy! Ok, you got me but it was only a small bottle.
