Who disliked thier 4500 @ 1st?
Hello fellow prospectors,
I've Just recently upgraded to a 4500 from a 2200d and put about ten hours on the clock though not confident that it is a whole lot better on larger targets at depth. did anyone at first regret thier upgrade to the 4500 but now believe its the best thing since sliced bread?
Cheers,
James

GDAY SHREEVE
ye mate im hearing you i jumped from a 3500 up to a 4500 and at times i through the 45 back in the 80 series and got out the 3500 to find colour .
not any more mate you just got to get used to it play around with your settings get a target in the ground and up the anti change coils and try different timings if you know you have gold under your feet (and you will) then play around with your settings
i know its hard because as soon as you here that sound you want to dig it up but be patient my friend it will come
good scratchin
cheers the speciman

Hi
The 4500 can be set to work identical as any earlier model with quieter operation as a bonus. In normal mode should be fine for you.

Alike might suit it more.Besides quieter operation there is a difference in the gold signature with each generation of machine.Ie set a gp and an sd with the same coil and you will find that the gp will find different gold.I lent my Gp3000 to a great operator of an sd2200d.He found an extra 6 ounces on his old patches. These werent missed by the sd2200d they simply did not fit its gold signature. The opposite would have be true also.Perhaps as high a ninety percent of the gold both would have found and 10 percent one but not the other would have found.
Now with the Gpxseries you have different timings on top of this.Thats whats so great about this game with the difference in Machines coils pulse trains frequencies and timings everyone gets a shot. There isnt and probably wont be one machine that can do it all.
Cheers Dig
