GPX 4500 Factory Settings

Hi all , am unable to return my 4500 to factory presets using the directed method , is there a trick to this or do i have a problem , any help will be appreciated , regards

You have to turn the detector off first. Then, as you turn it back on, hold the power button down instead of letting it flip back up again. Hold it down for just a few seconds and a full restart (reset) should occur immediately after this.

...after you select the type of restart you want with the left knob, then just turn the right hand dial one notch and it reboots.
