40.4 gram specimen

hi all
got this speci today. it weighs 40.4 grams and is about the size of a matchbox. the piece of gold is in the end of it. unfortunately the piece of gold would weigh 0.05 grams tops

Ahhhr Phoenix,You almost had me going there with that 50 cent coin chum, until I carefully read your post.But all specimens with gold in them have some tale to tell.Interesting find.Does the bottom right hand corner of that speci show mica? or is it some other combined mineral or metal?.

i don`t think there is anymore gold in it. it was just a tiny whisper of a target and if i wave the end that`s sitting on the 50¢ over the coil , you can`t hear it
