Ain't it amazing that Slippery Downs Ebay Seller of the GPX 5000 gave no Feedback & Received No Feedback
Ranks right up there with the coming arrival of the Easter Bunny.....pull up your chairs Kiddies and listen to this Fable from your Uncle Larry.....
There was this GPX5000 which was bought from a shop sight unseen and never looked at or even played with and was quite dejected......then the buyer thought it would be a good idea to sell it and let someone else play with it or even keep it in its sealed box......without giving any reason or details for selling......or even a photo of this quite valuable item.....now stop laughing....it gets better....so throughout the land far and wide the good folk bid nearly up to $6000,, yes...,six thousand gold $1 coins kiddies..<that's collectively 3,000 teeth @ $2 each from the Tooth Fairy children and that represents quite a gap in anyones mouth.....sight unseen and despite that their many pleas and questions fell on deaf ears with nary a reply.....and the Easter Bunny...er...the Emperor...er I mean Slippery Downs..then actually appeared to dispose of the surprise packet item.......and guess what is even more amazing..now children would you believe if I told you the ungrateful seller did not leave any feedback by way of encouragement to someone who paid nearly $6,000 and the unacknowledged one..the buyer ..reciprocated with perfect silence as well, with no feedback for the seller..whats that kiddies?..you reckon I'm full of BS and this simply could never happen in a Fairy Tale. .wasn't it Snow White who said a little coitus never hoitus!..6 times!...Sleepy wasn't up to it... .....and the moral of the story children is not all Fables can be believed entirely.......Ebay remains cool, calm and of course collected.......I choose to end my Story Now..The End.......wonder how long this post survives?....longer than that sale.....?.

Hey Larry,
$2 a tooth. The tooth fairy at you place obviously has not kept up with inflation.

...at my age Xenon all I have left is a lovely set of Tooth!.....when I was leaving them under my pillow as a kid the going rate was 6 pence from my late parents and unbeknowingst to them I would get one shilling from my late Nan and Pa....I thought $2 = One Pound was being fairly generous for a humble fang....you better acquaint me I have 7 Grandkids all about to start dropping them and changing over to their real life ones...<and I dont want them to remember me as the miserly old fart that I really am..>
So can forum members please tell me what a fang is now worth....I've got a gold capped tooth that is worth more out than in...I always stick my Pro Pointer in my mouth to test its working.....Hoo Roo

It got to be a coin, and a golden coin at that. My grandkids were happy with that, but they are past that now. By the way they had to wait to their nanna and poppa got back from their prospecting trip as their mum and dad did not believe in the tooth fairy.

The going rate at my place is $5 for front teeth and $10 for a molar. Yes, maybe I am being over generous in the fairy tooth department but hey, they are only little once and for not long enough.
