Congratulations ! Some great Tallies for one day, Just checked my diary, My best to date is 11, 7 littlies for 3.0grams & 4 Specimens ( 3 at 10cent piece size with moderate gold & 1 at 50cent size with lots of gold.
Have also had 2 days at 10 nuggets per day, ( 10 Specimens @ 17.8g, mostly gold ) & 10 nuggies at 7.0g

G'day Murachu, So did you go back yourself & re-dig your hole?? I have had a run in with our local enviroment Waikato outfit. I was dobbed in by a toss pot greenie for enjoying myself up a creek that I had never seen any one come up in all the times I have gone there. I was running my little 4" dredge....getting some nice results....hence going back there. To cut a long story short I was read the riot act by enviroment Waikato & it was looking not very good for me but ended up with a slap on my hand & a WARNING. Rules are: No disturbance of creek, river or lake bed in any way shape or form. So that ment not even digging a hole for a pan full of dirt. Bottom line.....no digging for anything....no disturbance full stop.
Well that has stuffed me up. BUGGER

Hi JW! no i havent been back to dig it out yet but i was up there last week and there is wayyy to much water at the moment but it is good to see so much water running in the creek after so many years of drought ! Ahh the men with the peaked hats!! you have them to did you know all this enviro crap comes from Canada!

My best day was 26.5 oz with a Garretts Deepseeker and Whites 6000DB
Ended up taking a claim over the spot in the early 80s



My wifes best day was 58 bits 2.5 oz with ML-3000
By the way she still reminds me that it was her that started to detect first that got
me to change from dredging gold.
