Re: redbank gold
Well done guys, thanks for taking the time to do the vid. Just wondering why you couldn't get to the spots you wanted to? Lack of map details, poor tracks, too wet, got lost lol...?

Re: redbank gold
Maybe it was a good omen, you ended up finding gold in a place you weren't planning on. Anyway good luck, persistance pays off...stoppsy wrote:hi goldenbrown, things just didn't go to plan, we tryed to get on some farm land but they lived in another town or they just wasn't home...that's just the way it go's but now we sort of know who has what land... so now just have to track some down to ask...

Re: redbank gold
hi xenon, just for a quick clean i just have a little getainer with a lid, put a small amount off washing powder and a little worm water, and shake the hell out off it for a few seconds, then i dry them off and they are pretty clean. the other way is using hydrochloric acid straight into a glass jar with no water and leave it in over night. if doing it this way do it in the shed with window or a door open....
GH there has been a lot off gold found this weekend mate, nothing like your find tho that's just a find off a life time...

Re: redbank gold
They sure add up don't they......nice collection stoppsy.
I see you have also progressed from the 20c piece to the 5c piece to make them look bigger, see what experience does..

Re: redbank gold
