best times of the year for detecting for central victoria
am i correct i think these are the best times of year for detecting:
april and into may nice and settled weather
june is ok as long as its a frost as that mean its going to be dry day other wise is generally wet
august and september as its after all the winter rain and its not too hot either and generally starts to dry up as well
ill say the worst time is january and feb as its normally too hot and risk of bush fires and alike
another bad time i find is july as its get way too wet and the weather just deterierates
my favourite time of year detecting wise is around anzac day in late april and early may or say around when easter is on also i like mid august and into and across september and early and mid october is great time as well.

With this past time Tim; one has to roll with the punches.
Stay home when it pouring down rain and get up and get out early when it's going to be a stinker of a day.
Every day is a good day

Tim, forget about what might or might not come this summer & get out there while the weather's tops, or you'll end up missing out on all that heavenly glory.

Have we ever been detecting in the snow like conditions before whats the coldest we have been out there in.
Also on the flip side whats the hottest and have we been in a bush fire while out detecting.
Is there an ideal type of weather thats assocatied for detecting.
Mine would be a nice 19-20 degree day clear and fine with little or no breeze and very calm a nice dry clear and kind of easy and comfortable weather.
Just warm enough to wear a short sleeve shirt while wearing long pants.
